I have many cats and use the pheromone diffusers but Junior, my neutered male, needing his own personal collar to keep him calm and reduce his anxiety urine marking. This collar fits well, can be adjusted easily, and Junior doesn't seem to find the smell overwhelming. He does not attempt to get out of it. Junior gets along better with the other cats when he is wearing and seems more relaxed when he is around the other cats. Definitely helps him.
Ramsay came to us as a stray last year. We took him in and he became part of the family. We already had 2 inside dogs. He did very well adjusting and loves them. Well….. fast forward to a couple weeks ago…. We got a new pup! And Ramsay became “Gordon Ramsay” when Gordon gets mad. 😂 He was full on trying to attack and kill! We almost got rid of the new pup before deciding to try other methods to help our old man out!!! These are absolutely a blessing! We no longer have to have THREE gates up a door way to keep Ramsay out. He can be in the same room with Odin “new pup” and not try to kill! He still swats occasionally and sometimes tries to charge. But the hissing, teeth showing, nails out, growling, and howling have all stopped!!! I only put this on him when we allow them to intermingle with one another. And as you can tell…..he looks sooooo comfy and relaxed!!! I will forever use these and will recommend to everyone who has a cat! Definitely will be buying more!
My cat immediately calmed down. He is not quite two. Did not fight me to put it on and he is a totally different cat. Groomer said it was useless. Hmmmm.........
I’m not sure if these really calmed our cats, but they did make them smell like nice old men, so that was pleasant! 🤣
