I can now confidently stop, dismount, and stand the bike up at pretty much any time now. Before I'd have to find somewhere to lean the bike against but now I can stop and put the stand out practically anywhere. I wouldn't sit on the bike on the stand like I would on a motorcycle! but for standing bike up whether short term or storage it's perfect. It's a tad wobbly if you put any more weight on it but you wouldn't be doing that anyway.
