Does what it says in the advertising. Hitherto I've used the vernier scale variety but this digital version is quicker to use and less fiddly than using calipers to measure circular objects.

Have used this everyday for a while now, has held up to its usage and holds a good tolerance in a manufacturing environment where I am holding micron tolerances. Would definitely recommend.

Good device! I use this to measure very thin plastic laminates as customers keep asking me the exact thickness. It has, however, a slight amount of slack when adjusted, but for my purposes it’s precise enough and very functional. I also valued being able to switch between imperial and metric measurements. Good value for the price.

The device is good as described. It came with a new battery inside the pack. The spindle moves smoothly and it looks beautiful compared to the cost. I recommend it to anyone who doesn't want to spend too much for a micrometer.
