Used twice already, makes the best mash!! No lumps at all and super smooth. Ricer seems sturdy and feels like it will last

The simplicity of this masher is great. No hidden place for bacteria and no need to disassemble. I use it for mashed potatoes and extruding spatzle.
The mechanism does get wonky lining up if not watched to get the top led into the bottom correctly but the bottom holds a good amount and overall it will last and not rust or need replacing for many, many years.
I only with it had a curved hinge on the sides to help align the mechanism and make it easier to use.
