I had an old waver I needed to replace but wanted one that gave subtle beach waves, this one is perfect!

Easy, fast, and cool lol. I usually straighten hair first then use this and it's everything it says. Not sure about how safe it is for your hair. Ut I don't notice any extra breakage. Cheapest one I could find too. Hair is just touching my shoulders, I used a friends that had big plates and it just made my hair look freaked out
